William Lane Craig gives some interesting thoughts on infinite. This sermon is given in his Sunday School Class where he’s explaining systematic theology and currently going thru an excurses on Natural Theology. He does a good job explaining infinite to laypeople and also relates this explanation to the infinite of God. Craig expresses a view that is close to Gordon Clark’s view of the infinite of God, but he spends a lot more time explaining it than we find in Clark. He points out that God’s infinite refers to his “omni” attributes, his eternity, etc, but that God isn’t numerically or spatially infinite on any way. I think these are good thoughts for people interested in the relation between God and infinite, although the purpose of this talk is to support the Kalam Cosmological Argument.
